Enjoy freedom of choice and creativity, close to nature, in the beautiful surrounding of Chateau de Gressoux in Haute Saone (east France).
	Art Disciplines During all the Creative holiday France weeks you have unlimited access to all the art workshops organised and have the freedom to choose what you want to do on a daily basis. Whether you want to paint, sculpt, sing, design and make silver Jewelry with art clay silver, attend Yoga, Tai-Chi, acting, movie making or cooking classes or make a mix of all these art disciplines the choice is yours. In the right wing there is a chapel of silence which was inaugurated by the Sisters of Charity. The chapel is back in it’s full glory as silence and meditation chapel

In the orchard you will find apple trees, cherry trees, plum trees, and prunella trees from which you can eat freely.

Artfriends team

Talented, enthusiastic and english-speaking art tutors will be there for you. The teachers of Artfriends are people with a passion and know how in their field. They enjoy working with groups in a hospitable way and are educated and able to share their knowledge with enthusiasm and patience in an unprejudiced and open minded way.

Besides our art teachers we work with volunteers. Our volunteers are part of the team and help out wherever they can in the kitchen, in the yard and during the workshops.

For beginners and advanced

You don’t need any experience, just fancy to try this and that. If you are a beginner, we will provide you with the basic techniques of each art discipline and make the acquaintance an enjoyable experience. If you are advanced we will support and guide you in your further development and give you tips in how to develop your art skills and/or techniques.

You can join us from € 575. All our prices are all inclusive (7 nights in Chateau de Gressoux, 3 meals per day, unlimited access to all the art workshops, sauna and swimming pool).

** A partner who doesn’t participate in the creative workshops, also has the time of his / her life. There are many cultural, sporting and recreational opportunities. The price for the partner package includes 3 meals a day, 7 nights and use of sauna, swimming pool and hottub, excluding the creative workshops.
*** If you’re in the neighbourhood and fancy to follow one or two creative days, you are more than welcome. A creative day includes lunch and dinner, excluding materials.
material All equipment is provided, such as modeling clay, acrylics, pastels, canvases, sketchbooks, Art Clay Silver (silver clay), haberdashery, CZ’s, gems, etc ….. Furthermore, there are easels, brushes, pencils, charcoal, etc. available. Of course you can also bring your own materials and tools if you prefer.

Silver Jewelry making	€ 32 for 10 grams of silver clay (enough to make a ring, a pendant, earrings, or 2 pandora beads)
Bronze jewelry making	€ 22 for 100 grams of bronze clay
Gemstone Jewelry making	from € 0,25 per gemstone
Film making	Please bring your own film / video camera (camera on telephone or picture camera is also ok) plus computer on which you can eddit your movie.
Yoga	There are yoga mats available. If you prefer your own, please bring your own yoga mat.
Singing, Tai-Chi, Coocking, Acting, Astrology	No specific material needed
Tibetan Buddhist retreat week	there are meditation benches available. For your comfort we recommend to bring your own meditation cushion
